360fe to 302

Hey guys here in a few weeks im buying a 302 from one of my parts guys and he's selling me the 302 complete (everything) with radiator, hoses, lines, motor perches as well as engine mounts. The 302 is now backed with a 3speed and my 360 is backed by the 3speed as well. From my understanding i need the 302 fly wheel, clutch, pressure plate and bell housing. Now im wondering do the 302 perches bolt to the same holes the 360 perches did of do new holes have to be drilled?

Correct me on anything i didnt inform yall on and any tips, advice and correction is appreciated :)

I did the same swap, (but C-6 instead of a standard transmission and didn't have to drill anything. The bolt holes should be there. Here's my build thread where you'll find pictures of the proper perch orientation also:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Thanks Basket Case. Where abouts in Tennessee do you live? Is it Chattanooga, judging from the choo choo?

Im about 20 min from Chattanooga. I live in cleveland and have to drive to Chattanooga every day for school at Chat. State

you know of a 302 3 speed bell housing?? I really need to find one......
