Fordman what do you mean the distributor is suppose to hook straight to manifold vacuum? I have mine running to the carb...should it be going to the T on the back of the intake? Can someone explain how the whole vacuum system works on the engine? All i really have learned is that the vacuum advance hose gets sucked on to advance the timing...

Nevermind fordman, i didnt realize there was a second page to this topic....Im kind of curious to see how my engine performs if i do run the vacuum advance to the T on the intake...But still can anyone explain how the whole vacuum system works on an engine?
