79 351 w/84 c6 to 94 5.0
we have a 71 f100 with a 79 or so 351 and 84 c6, we have a 94 5.0 that we would like to install. just wondering if it would be a problem or not . the engine is coming out of a 94 bronco full size 4x4. our 71 is 2 wheel. was wondering about transmission to engine and engine to perches and motor mounts. we have a new in cab tank, does the bronco have the in tank fuel pump? i guess the tank at the rear of the bronco will not work. thanks for any help and advice.

motor mounts are the same fo rthe 351w's. the fuel injected engine does have the high pressure in tank fuel pump.

Finding an external in-line fuel pump that provides the proper pressure/flow should be easy enough. You may have to use a regulator (with return), which is not too difficult.

Re: 79 351 w/84 c6 to 94 5.0
should there be an issue with all the sensors- map, o2 etc. for the 5.0 . i guess i will need to transfer all the under hood fuse boxes and wiring. will i need to do any inside the cab rewiring. i also wonder about the engine transmission combo. the 94 5.0 with the 84 c6. would it connect the same with the vaccuum and kickdown or is the 94 electric. i am trying to make sure i don't get in the middle of this and find out something major won't work. i get what you are saying about the external fuel pump. thanks

351W or 351M? Aren't the bolt patterns/bellhousing patterns different between the two?
I believe the 79 trucks had the 351M?

I suppose a decent manifold vacuum source should operate the C6 modulator just fine (may have to use an adjustable modulator and tweak it some for desired shift points). I'm not sure how tough the kickdown will be, but you can always use a Lokar cable if you can't manage to make the factory linkage work.
