I'm getting a merc grand marquis with a 5.0, i'm on transplant into my 68 f100. It has efi now, what would I need to do to keep the efi, and is it worth it over a 2 bbl?

for efi you will need the enigne computer. and the high pressure pump for efi. and a way to use the efi pump. probably intank i am guessing. i wouldnt bother putting a carb on that motor. it would be about the same as you have no.

possibly on the drivers inner fender or behind the glove box. idk on that car.

idk what the car ones look like. my 93 truck has a computer behind the glove box. i dont know what kind of computer it is. but it just unplugs from the main harness. i was told the older trucks have a engine computer on the inner fender. autozone has a parts locator on thier reapir tab of thier site. it may be able to locate it for you if you put in what car it is.
