Came of the inner fender well Left side on top. 69F100. Not sure if it is even a Ford part.

if its a ford part its going to be stamped with a part or engineering number. looks company made but for aftermarket. looks like for holding a small box? hide-a-key?

Best bet is it was a holder for a small tool box. Seems I've seen something similar before. Likely aftermarket, unless there is an actual Ford part number on it somewhere.
Bump'n along.

After much research I do not believe this to be a ford part. My dad had lots of aftermarket stuff on the truck. Thanks

ooooh i know what this is...most likely. You guys remember those folding reflective signals to use when you break down instead of a smudge pot or road flare? These folded and a reflector popped up and when headlights hit them they reflected to light up. This must have held a stack of three or so of these. I have a set and it has the same style latch that hold them together and in place.
