Thanks Guys...

I have removed nearly every nut and bolt off of a bump except the timing cover... never need to.
I got my '68 CS with 1200 miles on a fresh HP 390... the only major mechanical work I have had to do on the engine is replace a blown head gasket. I will have had it for 20 years in Oct and will have put 60,000 miles on it.
At that rate, I figure that I'll drivin' a Bump in heaven a long time before it needs to be rebuilt again...

the little 302's seem to be that way too. also the 240 sixes seem to run like a top for ever.
