Trucks sputtering out

So my 1971 ford f250 with a 360 (5.9) drives great but sputters out after driving it for most of the day then dies and won't start for like 20 minutes. I just put a new carburetor, ignition coil and fuel pump in it. But it still does it. I can't figure out why. Does anyone know how to fix it

Ya might try posting down in the engine section , with a few more symptoms.
Like , It turns over slow, or
It runs rough and stalls then cranks over fine but wont fire , or
????
