Got to tear off my plug wires and valve covers so i can re torque my heads and other bolts. Intake valve covers. Rocker arm assembly.
Its all heated up and retracted when cooled. So its time.
Should be good to go here soon. Oil change and coolant. New filters. Oil and fuel. Bam.

1st radiator from autozone was a bust. 2nd one I ran down to the local radiator and muffler shop. They ordered me up the correct part. Got a 3 row aluminum and plastic one. Got to burp it. Get a temp gauge and time this thing. Got a light gun or timing light from my team lead tonight. :)

Earlier today it was burping bad and sounded like water was boiling inside. Not to mention it was overflowing from the overflow. So Im guessing I didn't purge or burp it enough. I also couldn't start it after running to fill it up with gas. Thinking or hoping it just overheated.
working on it.

Trucks running alright. I used it as a truck several times now. Hauling.
I replaced my valve covers as one was leaking. Also replaced my plugs as they were the same ones from my headgasket blow job.
They all had white tips but i dont think i should b or am not that concerned.
I will try and get a pic of my new radiator. Dosent look like ill be getting to the body work this summer as we have rain. Coming. Prob for the next 8 months here in wa state.

I thought about jb welding some aluminum on my floors just to make it through the winter. Gotta get my heater box and heater core back in order so i can get defrost. Also debating on some tires.
Not to bad but still $ i dont wanna spend.

If you already have your heater box out, I recommend upgrading your blower fan while you're at it. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... hp?t=73960

Don't be too hasty about the charging system. First, take the battery and have it load tested. Or, if you have and know how, hook up a voltmeter and check it yourself. Then jump it off again if you need to and see if your alternator is charging the battery. I've had several old batteries work fine one day and crap out the next. Especially if your truck's been down a few days without running.

battery charger said it was a good battery. I hooked it up and tightened my ground. battery was at 100% yesterday. I think it was just my ground being loose but like u said ill do the load test on it per this site under the load test section.

Man you should be proud of her. I know you fought some issues with tearing it down again and all but still. You are overcoming problems and you are making great progress. The engine looks fantastic!!! Such an improvement. One thing to add. Any new thermostat i always drill a little hole in the tstat and put the hole in up when i install it/ Lets the air bleed out. KEEP IT GOING!!!!

this is the most recent pic ive uploaded to smug mug. My truck with the new flooring in it. Guy said it was 1400#s but we took out 14boxes I think it was cuz they were returned, open, or damaged.
Thanks manny. I am proud of it. Needs a lot more work but its at least drivable and enjoyable right now.
