Wow that would be one cheap truck! Can't go wrong there. You should definitely be able to get your money out of it.

Yup, worth it if you have the time and parking space to part it out. The West Coast mirrors might fetch you $50-$100 alone.

Sorry for the late update here. I did not end up getting that truck.
I did get some mirrors in today though that will hopefully cooperate with what i want them to do. ...
Also pulled the trigger on a rear view mirror. Hopefully stock and not a rip off.
These mirrors were cheap also btw.

Just read thru from the beginning my question is did the alternator situation ever get squared away fully? If not sounds like it may be time for a 3g upgrade to simplify the situation. looking forward to whats next!

Well dang.
You two and another on fb confirmed that as well. I asked cuz in the door jam and wells its two.tone brown and white.
Yes. Sorry if i wasnt clear on that. I was able to pull the battery cable and truck kept running, also the mechanic at the shop said my truck sat for 5 days and he went out and fired it right up.

Next ill share my work that was done at the shop and the total. Soder and shrink wrap the alt/engine bay wiring.
Cant wait to get my truck back!

Dude if you found vintage pictures of your truck in it's previous life that is SO cool! What a great story. I bet all of our trucks have had many different chapters in their life.
