OK, got back from Phoenix, and made a little progress. No photos right now, my iPhone got dropped and BOOM!

Anyways, coolant reservoir as well as washer reservoir installed, so I got the complex routing of the EFI's fuel lines routed. Also got the rough electrical operation check completed on the wiring system. So far the only real issue is the horn is doing it's Thang!

Got the door stripped of the internals and on the bench. Looks like a drunk toddler drilled the holes for the mirrors....I have to weld these up, and I still don't know what the quarter sized hole was about!

The BEAST runs!
Yesterday, on the anniversary of my father's passing, whom this truck is being restored in honor of, I fired up the 390 in my truck. Below is a LINK to a youtube video. I do not believe a video link violates the no video post in any other forum, but I asked the question to be sure, but had not received a reply yet. So if it is in violation, Sorry!

Welding on the holes in the door...
Image

painted the welds/grinds for visual.....part of me thinks I did a poor job, while part says things get smoothed/evened out with thin filler. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and am new to body work so not sure how to truly view it!

Thank you Bro, I enjoy doing it, and helping others where I can.

Wow! Looking great. Kinda dreading doing the seals on my windows. Maybe i missed it, but which seal kit did you go with and how do you like it? Been looking at Dennis Carpenter and Steele Rubber Products...

I got my seals through LMC. They seem to fit tight and seal up ok, although I am not on the road yet. If you replace the seals, drop me a PM and I'll give you some things I saw that may help.
