I will say that the Painless Wiring Kit, although spendy, is well worth it when it comes to simplicity and not having to re-invent the routing of wires again. It could be a lot worse!

My wife helped me this weekend, and we got the full floor vinyl installed on the truck. Much easier with an extra set of hands!

Got the Passenger side inner fender painted, under coated, and weird ass seal installed yesterday.

And installed the radiator support.

I'll post this in the interior section as well, but I found a great substitute headliner material. I got this piece of Vinyl at home depot for $22. It is 4x8 and white, but I believe it can be painted. It was advertised as shelf bases, but it is perfect for a headliner!

I used the trim to rough outline the shape and size, cut it big to allow trimming to size in place.

Image

I basically screwed it up in the overhead in the center portion and worked outward, screwing it down and trimming it in place.

Final product I believe looks good!

I then got my auxiliary fuel tank installed in the rear of the frame, installed the fuel transfer solenoid valve, and fuel lines. A flip of the toggle switch will transfer suction from the main tank in the cab to this 32 gallon monster!

Installed the inner fender and routed the wires from the painless wiring kit, and installed the solenoid and voltage regulator, as well as the heater hoses. I am awaiting the Champion aluminum radiator, they had to modify the mounting brackets for my truck. FYI Universal Champion Radiators that they swear fit all 67-72 Ford trucks only fit 2wd's. The bracket has to be rotated from front to back to fit 4x4's.

Thank you! I hope that some of you breathing life back into these trucks can take away something from my posts and put it to good use on yours!
