Basketcase,

None of the steering or suspension fasteners have been torqued yet. I'm waiting to get everything assembled and the truck back on the ground before I tighten them.

Very nice work
What's your plan for the old gas filler hole in the cab, now that you moved the tank under the bed?

I bought my son a 1981 Mustang Coupe last month. It's been distracting me from the Speed Bump project! :D Right now it's got a 2.3L in it. It's going to get the Mustang 5.0 w/EFI that I pulled out of the Speed Bump to start the 429 build.

I got back to working on my '67 today. I started cleaning everything that goes under the dash. Here's a before and after of the wiper motor assembly.

I've always loved the fox bodies! I bought my daughter a '79 for her first car when she turned 16. Bulletproof 200ci straight six and auto tranny. It had been sitting about 3 years and I gave the guy $550 for it. She drove it almost 2 years and beat it all to he-- and back but it kept her safe and sound. Your truck's looking great!

Randy thanks for the compliment. I've wanted a Fox body since 1985. My son is going to benefit from my parts stash! :D

I got the heater detailed/painted and installed this weekend. I also started installing the wiring harness.

I'll be running the Lightning wheels for now. I would still like to go to a Mustang bolt pattern. The number of wheel choices and back spacing options for Mustangs are far greater than for the Bumpsides!

I got the bracket that holds the brake pedal and steering column in today. That let me install the master cylinder. I went with a newer aluminum one and stainless braided lines with a line lock to lock the front brakes for burnouts. 8)

It's for a 1986 Ford Ranger, here's the parts store info: CARDONE 13-2374 Brake Master Cylinder. I got a good deal for a new one on Ebay. The mount holes lined right up and it looks like the spare push-rod that I have is the correct length. Now that I've been driving my F100 I can say that this master cylinder works great on my Bump.

It came from Ford without power brakes. I'm going to keep it that way. I also like the clean look of the firewall without it. I work out and I've got a strong right leg! :D
