Using airbags up front so ride height is infinitely adjustable. I too had considered raising the oem beams up to about 2* neg camber (about 2"). Then bend the beams back to 0.5* neg camber. Seems like a lot to bend. And who the heck even has one of those I beam bending tools anymore anyway?

Theses are all very plausable suggestions. Thank you.

DUH!!! I completely forgot you were running air bags. As far as bending the beams, I've been told that big rig alignment shops have a hydraulic press to bend the beams.?.? :?

So after looking at my straight f250 Ibeams, and googling 67 f350 I beams I noticed they are both completely straight. While contemplating my options this morning staring at my front end I noticed that The 1978 model I-beams I am using have an upward bend on them near I-beam bushing and then go straight from there. Since the I beam bushing part juts up it thought maybe I can just relocate the I beam mounting hole upwards and bring the whole beam vertically upwards. After some careful measuring I decided it could go up 1 & 3/4" and still leave sufficient clearance for travel up and down. Turns out that was the perfect amount. Top of tire is now exactly even with the fender at a ride height maintaining 0.5 degrees of negative camber! By golly I think I've got it!!!

Well here's the dealio. Bought stock I beams and relocated the holes upwards. Problem is the ps ibeam is bent but the ds ibeam is straight. It hits the engine mount crossmember on up travel. I could notch the crossmember but that was only problem number one. The drop I beams are 1/2" frigging wider than the oem beams. This means NONE of the brackets I fabricated fit. On the oem beams my lower airbag brackets hit the frame. The sway bar brackets won't fit in the old shock mounts as designed. What a mess. So in leu of refabbing all those parts I am again using the drop beams but dropping them. I removed the ibeam pivot brackets today and am building drop brackets to rocate the I beams down 1-1/2". Going weds to buy the steel. 2-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 1/4 is hard to come by on Sunday.
