Thanks guys. The project is on hold because we are moving to FL next month and I need the Hank drivable so that I can load it onto the car carrier. In other news I did buy an International Scout to take over hauling and junk yard duty for the Hank while it is under the knife. As soon as we get home to FL I will be cutting the frame just before the front leaf spring mounts and relocating the framerails inward to make room for the dually wheels. Stay tuned... And yes. Ed will be kept at a safe distance.

We have arrived in FL!! Storage unit rented and garage is almost set up for working on the Hank! The last few suspension parts are here and finall..... The last hold up.... What Ive been saving for...The custom made 22" Alcoa wheels with special offset have been ordered and should arrive here late next week or early the week after!!

I expect to be a rolling chassis by Thanksgiving and on to fitting drivetrain by the years end.

Glad this move is finally over. Stay tuned!!

Yes! I didn't know anyone was following the thread so I had quit posting. Removed engine(sold) and tranny(sold) front suspension and disc brake assy(available) and rear suspension(sold) in anticipation of the new suspension.

Got Hank on four heavy duty jack stands level from side to side and front to rear.

New wheels! Four 22.5" polished Alcoas machined to 22's and 2 custom made inners to put them only 3/8" apart. Love these wheels!

I am not usually into the lowered truck scene but I am diggin this build so far.

What motor and tranny are you going with????

This truck is only lowered 3". It won't be slammed. Look at my Tuff Truk avatar. I expect it will look something like that. Just enough to close the wheel well gap. I may lose you with my dive train choice but they DO put Cummins 6BT's in the F650 so.. It will be a 5.9l 12v Cummins with a 6 speed manual. I'm looking for ultimate simplicity and power. All the Ford diesels that would be acceptable will require a computer. No wiring required for this combo. Still not set on the drivetrain yet so I could still be swayed....
