The Green Beast

Post by ford4x4fun »

So I started working on my truck this weekend. I have been collecting things for awhile about 5 years now it is time to start putting her together the way I want it. Anyhow here is what I did this weekend.

Started with

Worked on it with this

Realized my hands could only handle that thing for about 5 hours and didn't knock hardly anything thing off so I did a search on craigslist for some better tools. And for 180 dollars I found these.

And after some POR-15 and some soda blasting I ended up with this!

And can't start a project thread without a photo of the truck!

Glad to see ya started. Looking good. I have been the same way. I keep buying stuff for the 68, but really haven't done a whole lot to it.

Jeff!

I like staring at the clouds when I am driving! It will just make me feel like all the other FL drivers who don't pay attention! And if I drive this truck to my next deployment, I might use it as a weapon instead of a source of transportation!

Well... Like anything life does its best to get in the way. Not a lot of time spent on my truck, but I was able to get the Bellhousing and Old Transmission out of her this weekend. I also got the headers off it. Hopefully next weekend I am pulling the motor and starting to paint the frame!
