This is something I dreamed up. I cut the top of the spring perch out and welded the cups on the top. The bottom is a mount that I made it is held on by the I beam bolt but will also be welded to the radius arm when finished. This setup should get my truck pretty low, the cross member is just high enough to get your foot under it!! I already had the drop beams and wanted to go lower so this was what I came up with. The shockwaves are from AIM and are custom built to my specs.

Here are some pics of the kick panels. They are the ones from Rod Doors. The speakers are 4inch Rockford Fosgates mounted in custom rings made from MDF. I stayed old school with factory heater and side vents. No A/C on this baby.

Here are some pics of the motor. It is a 408 with a 4340 steel crank, Carillo rods, SRP pistons, Custom grind Comp Cams hyd. roller retrofit cam, AFR cnc ported heads, Victor Jr. intake, MSD billet distributor, and a Race Demon 850 carb. All cast was removed from block and it was painted with Dupont Black with House of Kolor clear. I spent about 15 hours removing cast from the block, it looked like chrome...it was almost a shame to paint it.

Here are some pics of the doors. I just finished making the door skin look better. I filled in gaps so the skin is uniform all the way around the door. Sorry these pics kinda suck but you guys get the idea....

I love the fact that you have your motor on a cradle in what looks to be the [censored]. I like how you roll.

69 F-100 project

Post by bossperformance »

Hey guys,

My situation has changed so I have not gotten much done in a long time. The Cab is at the bodyshop but I have moved about 4 hours away from the shop where the rest of the truck and my tools are so I have not gotten much done. I did get the 4 link in the back and started mocking up the drivetrain as well as the gas tank. I will be using a 67 mustang tank between the framerails behind the rearend. Here are some pics of the frame and 4 link.

Sweet looking ride. Are the 4 link brackets custom or off the shelf? I like that Shelby in the background, good taste. Post some pics of it.
