I also made a decision on what to do about mirrors. After seeing one of the other guys on here with them (thanks wyoming4x4!), I decided to go with the 92-96 F-150 mirrors. They work really well with the lines of the truck, and they are a decent size. Now, I had a debacle with Amazon with these. I ordered two. When they came in, I got 5. The next day, I got 4 more. Called Amazon, they cancelled the order, it was still showing it hadn't shipped yet! Sent me return tags. Next day, 3 more show up! Got return tags for those also. They only over charged me for one mirror, but they took the charge off for the pass. side one, and only charged me for the drivers side. Oh, and got power ones, plan on wiring them up for that.

I ordered a inner fender from DC and it fit like a charm. Keep up the good work.

Man, have I been slacking on posting here or what! I've been off since June 23rd, had my knee replaced, so I was out of commission for a while. But, been busy the last few weeks, time for some updates. I did get a few more parts last spring, I was able to find an original cargo light from a dealership in Iowa. Got the gasket from Dennis Carpenter.

Also, I ordered the 2wd cab mounts from Dennis Carpenter. They don't make a 4x4 set, but, after researching it. the back mounts on a 4x4 are the same as the front mounts on a 2wd and 4x4. So, I'll have the back 2wd mounts milled down to the same depth as the front mounts.

Found a set of pedals from the 92-96 Super Duty, that will work with the brake and clutch master cylinders I want to use. Oh, and scored a really nice grill off of CL for 100 bucks!

Also got seam sealer inside the cab. I'll still have to do up under the dash when I get that piece welded on.

One thing I had forgotten, was to get the rockers coated in POR-15. Since I put the cab on it's back to undercoat, took care of this oversight.

Spent some time yesterday, getting the cowl, and both dash sections sandblasted. Along with the inner cab corners and rockers, shot those pieces with epoxy primer.

Got the bottom of the cab undercoated, had a nice calm day with low humidity. I used the 3M Body Shotz undercoat, and a gun that I got off of Amazon. It went on really well, ended up using two bottles. But, I did order a 3rd bottle, found a few spots that need touched up, when we flipped the cab back up, and put it back on its stand. But, I can hit those while it's on it's stand.

With the cab back on it's dolly, I have a few spots that need to be popped out, so got busy with the stud welder. Of course, since I bought this from Harbor Freight, the slide hammer isn't worth a damn, and I'll need a new one.

This spot was beyond me pulling it out. Looks like someone tried with screws in the past, unsuccessfully. So, I decided to cut it out, and make a new patch. with all of the bends, this thing took me forever to get it right! But, it looks much better.

Created the bracket that will hold the steering column clamp. Since I'm going to have power steering, I won't need the monster factory setup that was in here before. Got a clamp from Ididit, works perfect. It will hang from the bottom of that bracket on the dash support. I doubled up the metal where the clamp studs will attach.

Also created the backing plate for the firewall, where the steering passes through, and the master cylinder and clutch master cylinder bolt on. This will get rosette welded to the firewall, after I get it shot with epoxy.

Shot the inner fenders, steering column, firewall backing plate, and the covers for the front cab mounts in epoxy. I'll give the inner fenders a day or so, then undercoat the bottom side of them. Luckily, I have a neighbor that doesn't mind the smell of epoxy primer
