Gas filler cover/door

Post by MikeB »

Hey Y’all
Does anyone have a source for the metal gas flap/doors that look like the dealer installed versions? Preferably in chrome?

Thanks

I'd try a RV / camping dealer.

I decided not to reinstall the saddle tanks. In my opinion they are too dangerous especially to other drivers. Looking to figure out a between rail setup and use a factory style auxiliary filler cap and neck.

HERE Is what we did for our Ups driver,, he bought a Mustang tank, relocated the filler inlet so that it matched a 77/79 truck, then we cut the filler door with tube to install at he back of the bed,, Also a lot of other tanks out there and the least worry is the inlet tube since that can be relocated, worse part is to find one that fits in there nice,, OR build a custom tank
