rear steps

Post by cdeal28078 »

Anybody here remember the rear sport bumper steps on top of the bumper. They were chrome with e rubber top about 4 inches square?

I took a quick look thru the sale brochures from the home page and didn't see anything .
there is a lot of good stuff I recommend it.
some of the old station wagons with the rear seats had something like that. maybe someone adapted one and that's what you saw. ?

Yep. Saw those on a bump at Moultrie swap meet years ago and drove me nuts to figure it out. Try looking for like 67 Galaxie station wagon. Cool as heck on a chrome bumper. I gave up locating a set as they ate pretty rare and $$$. Search fleabay for Part number C6AZ-17B820-A
68 Ranger. 302 Clevor w/ 3 on tree, soon to have front disc brakes.

What you're referring to are PN C6AZ-17B820-A (the kit), but they're for '66-'68 Galaxie station wagons. While they do bolt up to the pickups with a Sport bumper, the fit is less than perfect, as you can see here.
