The best ones I have done to this point are power steering and electronic ignition. More to come with the 75 front disk upgrade and some suspension mods.

The best mods I have done to my bump is a combination. One without the other wouldn't work. Swap out the front suspension for a 2005 CVPI IFS with 1 1/2" drop springs. The other half: 1995 Thunderbird (MN12) IRS.

I am in the process of Restoring my 1972 ford F-100 and I have done a bunch of custom modifications. The most Interesting one is my plans for a New feature upgrade which gives me Temperature Inside and Outside with True Heading mounted on a panel to cover the old radio hole.

The Upgrade will hopefully include:

An Arduino micro-controller to read temperature inside and out
A 4x20 alpha numeric character display to show everything
A magnetometer to create the digital compass.

As time goes on I think i want to use two hobby servos to control the defrost and floor heat vent and another one to control the hot air cold air mixture. I wan't to implement an In cab thermostat controller that will control the temperature inside the truck.

Either way you can track my progress here along with the rest of my restoration progress.

Hey tude, your seats look great!

For mine I'd say it is the Torque Thrusts & Firestones.

Adding an auxiliary plug to my stock radio was pretty neat. Get the tunes I want with a stock radio. Then that wasn't enough so I added a standalone PC sound system in the back of my seat, which is very useful.

Replaced a tired and weak 240 I6 with a 352FE, power steering, pertronix ignition, dual exhaust turns out in front of the tires. :woohoo:

Things to come C6 auto, tank moved to under the frame, power discs up front, (Still considering the cv front end swap), new paint, stereo, and a/c. :D

:fr: Absolute best mod I had made was have the radiator recored to a full four rows, sometimes referred to as the "dessert" radiator, and installed an overflow catch bottle. No more worries going over mountain passes, or running hard on a hot day. The second best and biggest modification I've made was to get rid of the water world of heater hoses going everywhere and under the carb and plumbing the heater core like normal, I like the heat in the cab! I cut the connectors off the carb spacer, just in case I ever got the notion to put it back, also installing a heavy/thick insulator gasket underneath the carb. A Walker Sound FX muffler makes it sound cool outside and hear the radio inside which is another mod with speakers. An old school compass and some gauges that work in the cab, and new air cleaner, hotter coil and an electric choke about round it up. What else can you do to a truck made near perfect to begin with? Best thing I did to my truck while not a mod, was to finally find the power steering pump filter, the original FOMOCO one was in there for over forty years! That old Eaton pump sure was happy, and I was too, sure is a lot easier to steer now.
