Re: The Time Machine

I was at the local cruise in during the "Truck Night" theme night a couple months ago and actually won one of the three "Coolest Car" awards that they give out each week! I've been hoping to win one of those for a couple years now and I finally won one! It's not the biggest of my truck's trophies, but certainly one of the most meaningful to me! :D

I've only made one change to the truck in recent months, which is my steering wheel. While I liked my wooden Grant Signature wheel, it was almost too nice and shiny to fit the image of my truck. Some of the guys online were talking about this wheel called Forever Sharp. I like the black spokes, more dull wood finish, and brass rivets that this wheel has, so my wife got it for me as a Christmas gift! It was a quick install since the bolt pattern was the same as the Grant Signature Series wheel hub; just a quick 5-screw swap! 8)

Truck looks sweet Jason.
Congrats on the progress and awards.
Hopefully I can see it in person soon over at the ottos meet ups.
Good luck and keep trucking!

Not much new has been going on. The truck has been running good! I swapped my 650cfm Edelbrock AVS for a 750cfm Edelbrock back in the summer, just to see if I was leaving any power on the table. So far, the Cleveland has liked the change! I haven't logged enough fuel tanks yet to say exactly how much, but I do believe my fuel economy has even improved with the change!
My wife gave me a hand and we tinted the back glass back in the summer, just to cut the heat down a little inside since this beast has no A/C. It turned out nice, and does help!
We've just been enjoying the truck, hitting some car shows and cruise nights as we can. :D

Glad you still have her and having fun with her! She looks good with the tinted back window.

Thank you. Yeah, we didn't bother tinting the side windows since they're always down anyway for the Model 55 A/C to work.

Will do!
I may keep it a little longer until I figure out if I can find my wife a project car of her own. I'll let you know.
