LMC Truck

Post by blue68 »

Hey is it just me, or is it crazy that you have to pay a miminal fee of $50.00 to buy anything out of the LMC Truck catalog. What happens if you're a kid like me and all you can afford is a $4.50 valve cover decal? :? Not that there's anything wrong with LMC, but man I don't like that rule.

National Parts Depot or Dennis Carpenter might have it, but you'll pay more for their minimum shipping charges than the decal.

My brother called and tryed to order it for me, and they said "What else can we get for you?" He said, "That's all", and they said that there is a minimal charge of $50.00 on all purchases.

Also, LMC is the only one who has this particular decal.

Fordman, that's really nice of you, but It's not that important to me. My brother is always spending money out of that catalog , and I can just tack on my decal to his final bill and pay him the difference.

Thanks

On your decal since LMC Does not make any parts, try the Mfg. in which should be Jim Osborn Reproductions in Lawrenceville Ga., Phone number which is 770-962-7556, fax 770-962-5881 or on-line
www.osborn-reproduction.com to see if they have since they are the Mfg.'s for decals & literature for many of the older cars or trucks

just received my winter 2006 LMC catalog today. it says 57-72 my older ones do say 48-72. i was not impressed with the parts that i got from them, and sent them back. i ordered armrest and cowl lacing. the armrest were hard rubber and i could put up with that but they didn't even fit right. and the cowl peace didn't fit either. not sure if i will buy from them again.
Does anyone know who sells armrest that are like the factory ones for a 68-72? :hmm:

Hey, I just noticed at LMC now has their entire catalog on their website....finally. This will definitely make things nice for ordering, or even just for referencing parts.
