Mac's Truck Parts

Post by kentdaryl »

Just a quick note on Mac's. I tried them for the first time because NPD didn't have my carpet in stock. When I placed the order I was told that 2 of the 6 items ordered were back ordered. No big deal, it was just some self adhesive backed insulation and a lens. Just like clockwork my package arrived (love seeing those boxes on the porch, just like Christmas), only there was no carpet. I called Mac's and was told the carpet was on a 4-6 week back order! I wasn't happy but what do you do? Well only a week or so passed and the carpet showed up two days ago, much earlier than expected and it looks nice although I havn't installed it yet. Then yesterday when I got home the back order package was on the doorstep, only one problem, they substituted a different item on the insulation that is not self adhesive which I can't use. Oh well, overall OK service.

I have their catalog but haven't ordered anything from them yet. At this stage I will probably get what I need locally.
