General parts truck

Post by Bayes11 »

So I've decided to purchase a parts truck for my '70 F250 (2WD with a 390 V8), but I'm only seeing a number of F100s in my area (northern Colorado). Anyone have thoughts or opinions on how much flexibility I have in the make/model/engine for the parts truck to be useful? I don't have a specific system such as engine or transmission that I'm trying to optimize for, just general issues that may come up. Thanks!!

Many of the panels and parts from the body are interchangeable. Differentials, brakes, suspension, frame will be different. I'm in your area (Ft. Collins) and have extra stuff here and there so check in with me if you like.

Thanks madman! I figured a straight match would probably be the only real option. I'm down in Longmont, so I may just take you up in that offer one day.
