klutch Tools???

Post by AZf100 »

Anybody have input on the Klutch tools from Northern Tools. I'm looking to buy my son a tool kit to use on his projects as he is getting more interested in projects.

Looks like they are just your average house brand tools. Id assume they are forged in china then relabeled by nothern tool to whatever they want. Are they better then craftsmen, gm tools, etc etc who knows

Looks like it has a lifetime guarantee. If you are buying local and if a piece breaks it want be such a hassle to replace. I purchased a angle grinder (Klutch) from NT and have no trouble with it yet.

only problem with cheap tools is sometimes they will stretch and round out the nuts and bolts.if you have a menards store close by then i would buy the master force tool set.made in u.s.a lifetime warranty and well made.some of the crapsmen tools are made in china now so i dont buy them anymore.just my opinion.
