Lincoln welding helmets

Post by flyboy2610 »

I am considering buying this helmet. I really like to buy things made in the USA if I can. Does anyone know where Lincoln helmets are made?
I found this:
# Lincoln Electric Co. (Cleveland, OH): (stick, MIG, and TIG welders) welders manufactured at several facilities in Ohio. ( Some product lines imported ). In 2003, Lincoln bought the Century brand, and many Century welders are made in USA. Available from MSC

So I'm wondering if the helmets are American made? I can't find any here in town to check the package, so if anybody could tell me, thanks!

I know that Lowe's sells them, that's where I bought mine. I looked inside mine and it says "Jackson Products Inc. Belmont, Michigan".

Lincoln is American made from what I see. Mine appears to be made in Glenshaw Pennsylvania. I got a Lincoln flag one. Can't believe how light they are.

So Jackson builds the helmets and Lincoln sells them under their own name? I can deal with that. Jackson makes good stuff. I think I'll go ahead and get that helmet, then. Thanks for your help!

Good choice on the helmet my grandfather's got one, much better than the cheezy harbor-freight one I bought . I bet you will be very happy with it, I will probably buy one eventually, or at least a quality non auto darkening helmet so I can see what I'm doing better .
