opened up the shop

Post by papabug71 »

My little shop originally had a room for a shower/toilet. I dont plan to ever run water or sewer to the shop, so it was basically in my way. I tore it out & it really opened up the shop, made it alot easier to work on stuff.

What I started with:

You can see how crampt it use to be with the truck pulled in far enought to close the garage door.

100% Fordified? I spy a Mopar sign. :? Just kidding, I have had 1/2 dozen Ford trucks, a 67 Dodge truck, and a 67 Datsun with the running gear from a HP mustang, 289. Nice shop.

:D Ford & Dodge have always been my favorites. My DD is a '01 Dodge 4x4. Its a cozy little shop, but it suits me right down to the T.

Have you seen it since I put the winch bumpers on it? :D I have a set of 3/4 ton axles for it as well. Im not going to mess with them untill I can afford to upgrade to 35 spline axles & ballistic hubs. Then its going sky high !!

Looks real good. Always loved my Fords, although Dodge has always been a truck I admire. Had the 67 Dodge for a while. Was going to restore it, but a kid in the neighborhood needed a 1st vehicle and I sold it to him for $400. That was several years ago, and he still has it so that was a good thing. May get a Dodge for my Daily driver never know. Need to let the 68 sit long enough to do what I have planned.
