4x4 Rear Drive Shaft

Post by hdman90 »

Looking for a rear drive shaft for a 67-72 F-250 with 4wd and a Dana 24 transfer case. This would be part number C7TZ-4602-BG. The length from end of hole (drive shaft side) to end of spline is 34-13/32".
Thank you.

Probably highly unlikely to find the OEM part number your looking for. I've been working of our Ford trucks since the early 70's and maybe seen zero to one driveshaft that ever had a Ford OEM part number stamped on it. :(
Typically how you'd approach this is to have it custom built which will also be a lot easier on your wallet as they too will balance it, (once you know the end cap / U-joint sizes) from a local driveline shop. I'm sorry I don't know the area better but maybe google driveline / drive shaft / (don't rule out finding the driveline shop from a transmission shop who uses them a lot either). :2cents:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
