Hi Folks- new guy- old truck!

Post by the elder rocker »

Hi Folks-
Don't know why, but a '67 F100 Custom Cab shortbed followed me home. I know it's a one-off but it seems that one-offs are drawn to me. Or is it me to them? point of posting here is that there are a few missing parts. Some easy, some not. Here goes----
Hubcaps- I like dog bowls. 10 1/2 inch lug to lug.
Horn ring and attaching hardware
Driver's inner door panel and trim surround. In red if possible (yeah, right!)
Hood letters
Driver's side vent window latch
Turn signal lever. Mine's there but the plastic knob is missing.
This is not a restoration project. It's a rough old truck that sat outside for 20 years and lived rough before that. Trying to fill empty holes at the moment. Pitting is OK. Dings and scratches are not my enemy. Cost effectiveness is paramount. (OK, I'm cheap, too!)
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
Regards,

Hi Folks-
Found a parts truck that got me many, many parts. Still lacking----
The "D" in "Ford" on the hood (67-69 with the ribbed inner section)
Horn ring and attaching bits
1 inner door handle.
I believe these are the last of the parts to make the truck complete. It's running and driving now, next fettle the systems to make it reliable and safer, then maybe shoot for pretty in the future.
If anyone has these bits give a shout!
Thanks ahead.

Hi TL- Thanks, but my local salvage yard said that he had one and he would even sell me such a small part(!!!) This is the old yard I used to scrounge Chevelle parts out of and pull out complete Bowtie shortbeds! Seemed I would always need a longbed parts truck for cab and paper!
Thanks again!
