I am sending a few $'s to help Mark get this thing going. Hope a few others will do the same.

I could probably send a few bucks too, unfortunately with my work It will basically be that morning before I know if I can make it.

$$ collection is, of course, not my real goal here. I just wish to have participation. I will front whatever $$ is needed and use any that is sent my way to purchase the boston butts I will be slow cooking for 12-15 hours with pecan smoke and my own special blend of herbs and spices. As well as sides, plates, plasticware and other various and sundry items. If folks want to pitch in at the event that will be welcomed. Heck bring a covered dish that would go well with the BBQ. If it looks like we are going to get rained out we can possibly reschedule or whatever but I want no one to worry about their $$ that they sent me.

My foremost goal is to have some kind of decent turnout (10 or more trucks maybe) along witht he Ford lovers and their families that come along for the fellowship.

Remember to bring spare parts for the swap meet!

My dream is to have an annual or maybe more often meeting of a Ford truck lovers club. If you have a friend or family member that has an old Ford bring them on! And if you can't drive your rig or trailer it here, come anyway and enjoy the meal and fellowship.

AND if your truck isn't 67-72 I ain't gonna run you off. If you have a Ford truck that you are proud of, bring it along.

East substantally... ~150 miles

If I got your city right on google you'd be better off to go down through Ashville, Greenville and Anderson. 180-200 miles.

Looks like you're picking up speed here - love the idea of a mini-swap meet too. I've got some stuff to bring.
