68 F 100

Post by T2tonker »

This is my first time on the site. I was at my local salvage yard yesterday and found a lot of late model trucks. Is there a reason that everybody uses the Crown Vic front clips instead of the late truck front clips ?

I just got a 1968 F100 with a great running 360 and a c6 last weekend. The truck has A/C P/S, but stand to stop brakes. I've been building Harleys for years, this is my first truck that I'm going to try.

All depends on what you plan on doing with the truck but realize if you go with a crown vic swap you'll probably also be changing the wheel bolt pattern.
The dent era front end swap is by far easier and many donors still available in the boneyards-it gets my vote still.
